She was loaded with 2400 tons of wheat and was sailing from La Plata to Cardiff having called at Falmouth for orders. She struck the Rundlestone rocks in November 1895 and was beached to prevent floundering. 5ft of water in her holds caused the grain to swell. Within 24hrs she was in pieces. No lives were lost.
