Socoa
In dense fog and a rough sea the Socoa bound for San Francisco with cement from Stettin went ashore on Criskin Shoal, off Cadgwith, on 1st August 1906 with all sails set. Her crew of 25 were rescued in three trips by the Cadgwith lifeboat.
