At the same time as the Old Cornish Mine series were being produced, two other series also appeared using very similar designs and illustrations :

• Old West Country series, from the Two Counties Match Company in Honiton, Devon
• Old Kentish Country series, from the Kentish Match Company in Sidcup, Kent

Also, the Heroic label from Old Cornish Mines (number 45) triggered the start of the extensive Cornish Wreck series.
